Hello! 

My name is Bethany McCall (formerly Dauterman) and I am thrilled to be your child's teacher. My journey into teaching was one I had to fight for and I am doing my best to create a nurturing, loving environment where your child's learning and achievements will be celebrated.  I taught kindergarten for 4 years, 2nd grade for one year, and I will be teaching 3rd grade this year!

 

I have grown up in Chardon, OH my entire life, and was raised by a hardworking father and a loving mother who was also a teacher.  I have 2 older brothers and an adorable niece and nephew.

 

I attended Cornerstone Christian Academy and then received my Early Childhood Education degree along with my K-12 Reading endorsement from Mount Vernon Nazarene University.  In my time in college, I was able to travel to Israel and teach in Belize!  I am now currently pursuing my master's degree in Educational Technology!

 

When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my husband,  daughter, and dog whom I adore, going to sporting events to cheer for our Cleveland teams, scuba diving, volunteering at my church and spending time with friends and family.
